But it is my FAVORITE holiday, what could be better than getting to dress up however you want, pumpkin carving, candy galore, great fall weather, and scary movies? Okay, well, Christmas is great with presents and all, but I really do LOVE me some Halloween. Because our life has changed a bit since last Halloween, new baby, no big deal, we decided to skip our annual Halloween party for a more relaxed Halloween at our neighbor's house. We took over some stuff to grill, a blanket, a cooler, and enough candy to send any kid over the edge, and really had a great time. Our monitor gets service at their house (they are literally right next door) so when Eli went down at 7:30, we were able to stay out a little later and just watched him on the monitor. We didn't have too many trick or treaters, but I am really looking forward to Halloween next year when Eli is more mobile and we can do a little trick or treating of our own.
Eli fell fast asleep at The Horne's pumpkin carving party.
All decked out in his Halloween pants.

You're a good man, Charlie Brown!
